Job Description
Design and model industrial machinery parts & assemblies of tools utilizing 2D detail drawings and 3D CAD software.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform material selections
- Consider heat treatment requirements and purchasing parts like pneumatic cylinders, clamps, bearings, balancers, etc. as required
- Collaborate with Project Manager to implement customized mechanical designs of Tools and Fixtures
- Review specifications and other data to develop mechanical layouts
- Analyze engineering designs for implementations into new/existing systems
- Prepare drawings for production using GD & T standards
- Plan work-flow, Attend meetings, conduct statistical studies, Line-up controls engineering
- Identify & implement new manufacturing technologies or processes
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
